My name is Alyson and I&nbsp;am a private counsellor\/psychotherapist in Keynsham. I work with adults in one to one counselling either in person, via Zoom or on the telephone.<\/p>\n<p>I can work with you to explore a range of issues personal and work-related. This means I believe the therapeutic relationship we build together is the base from which we can explore your needs, problems and aspirations to enable you to find your way forward. I am passionate about counselling &#8211; you matter and you are allowed to change.<\/p>\n<p>My approach is integrative; I use a range of theoretical models and approaches to respond to your needs. These include; Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Gestalt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are my qualifications?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am a fully qualified professional counsellor\/psychotherapist. I hold a Diploma in Professional Studies: Counselling from the University of the West of England. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which is an assurance that I meet the standards of proficiency and ethical practice expected. I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and receive regular professional supervision. I also qualified with Cruse as a bereavement and loss volunteer and have received specialist Infant Loss training. &nbsp;I have a B.Ed. (hons) degree with over 30 years teaching experience.
